Eddie’s Bar & Grill – GrubMaster Rated 5.50

With 2 locations in the area, Eddie’s has a sports bar atmosphere with plenty of seating and bar space both inside and out Advertising the best burgers in the country and award winning wings from the Dunedin Wing Challenge “and the plaque to prove it”. That being said, it was time to check it out. With 13 flavors to choose from, it was Cajun and house specialty Stingray ( touted as the award winning sauce). Both orders were served hot and crispy and that’s about where it ends. The cajun rub added very little to the overall taste of the wing and they came across almost plain. The Stingray sauce had a somewhat distinct flavor but was applied sparingly with an almost medium heat level but didn’t scream award winning. They have a very comprehensive menu with all the popular pub and local favorites so if you need a big selection Eddie’s is a good place to go. But, if allyou’re after is wings, take 50 steps south with the Cajun getting a 5.50 and the stingray a 5.75 out of 10.
